The Diploma of Business is a Nationally Recognised Qualification. This qualification reflects the role of individuals with substantial experience in a range of settings who are seeking to further develop their skills across a wide range of business functions. This qualification is also suited to the needs of individuals with little or no vocational experience, but who possess sound theoretical business skills and knowledge that they would like to develop in order to create further educational and employment opportunities.

What’s involved in a Business Diploma?

The course focuses on developing your organisational and teamwork skills, managing performance, professional development, preparing budgets and providing leadership across the organisation.
Our qualified industry experienced trainers provide you with a blend of theory and practical knowledge to ensure you gain your Business Diploma.
The Diploma of Business allows you to gain skills to further develop opportunities within a range of business functions. Job roles relevant to this qualification include: 

  • Executive Officer
  • Program Consultant

 Am I eligible?

There are no prerequisite requirements for individual units of competency. Consideration will be given to your academic and/or work histories.


What will I receive?

On successful completion learners will receive a Diploma of Business or a Statement of Attainment for competencies completed.


Can I go on to further training?

Yes. Successful completion of this course may gain recognition of your studies towards the Advanced Diploma of Business or other Advanced Diploma qualifications.


How long will the training take?

Approximately 6-12 months or up to 24 months of study time will be involved however, the training duration will depend on the electives and study mode selected.


Where, when and how can I train?

 You can choose to complete your qualification via distance (workbooks and assessments are completed off site) or through structured class room sessions or blended delivery.


Is what I already know taken into account?

 Yes. Your history of study, skills and experience does matter. Consideration is given to your prior life and work experiences as well as formal and informal training. This may be applied using the national standard for Mutual Recognition or through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). Documentary evidence will be requested.
